I think we can all agree that 2020 is probably one of the weirdest years we have lived through. The happenings around the world affect all of us in different ways but one thing I never put too much thought into is the high school seniors. I hung out with Madi and captured her Senior photos yesterday and she was telling me that they are from, kids are being forced to be homeschooled. What does that mean? Well for starters, No homecoming dance, No homecoming games, no sports, no friends...There is nothing. If things don't start getting better, Prom might not even be a possibility. Our kids go to school for 13 years just WAITING for their senior year and ready to enter the world as an adult but right now, adulting seems kind of Scary.
After talking for a while, I've realized she has something that a lot of us do NOT. Positivity! She has a super positive attitude that I admire so much. We went on to talk about her future and where she sees herself. She is thinking along the lines of a social worker or therapist. Her main goal is to help little kiddos who may have experience some sort of trauma in their life. HOW AMAZING IS SHE?! After getting to know her for a bit, I can say with 100% certainty that she will succeed. I could see the passion emitting off of her as she was telling me what her life after school will look like. I am SO excited for your future Madi! You've got this.
